a fire resistant door design and blast protection into a single door. Using a single door
for fire and blast resistance introduces savings of space and money
and allows for a simpler building design to keep personnel
protected.

Temet's HPO Fire and Blast Resistant Door efficiently isolates fire and explosions
with one single door by providing protection
against vapor and dust cloud explosions while at the same time keeping heat
away from the inside. Vapor cloud explosions are a challenge to structural
design due to their relatively long
duration compared to detonations. The advanced sandwich structure of Temet
HPO Fire and Blast Door withstands vapor cloud explosions of 1 bar (14.5
psi) and will isolate fire for a minimum of 60 minutes due to its optimal
structure and material. The door makes high security access points
simple to build, saving both space and money.
