KS Gastight Closing Valves
Temet's
KS Gastight Closing Valves are used in ducts of military, governmental
and industrial hardened shelters. KS gastight closing valves are
primarily designed to separate toxic free spaces from contaminated air
to protect personnel from Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC) and other
airborne hazardous substances. The valves can be manually, electrically
or pneumatically actuated, and can be integrated into building
management systems for complete automation.
Temet KS Gastight Closing Valve Design Features
Temet's
KS Gastight Closing Valves incorporate a light metal alloy body with
neoprene gaskets. The valve is comprised of a flap valve which rotates
in bearings for low pressure drop and excellent gas tightness. The valve can be locked into any position. All parts
of the valve are designed for corrosion resistant via epoxy powder
coating, galvanizing or stainless steel construction. KS Gastight
closing valves are available standard in various sizes from 100mm to
1000mm.
Temet's
KS Gastight Closing Valve is available as a manually actuated valve, or
with electric or pneumatic closing mechanisms. KS gastight flap valves with electric
or pneumatic mechanisms can be integrated into building management
systems for automatic control and position monitoring.
